PTC Punjabi Film Awards 2019- Carry On Jatta 2, Sajjan Singh Rangroot and Qismat amongst big winners!

The 9th Edition of PTC Punjabi Film Awards took place today in Mohali, Punjab. Like always, this year the awards were more like a big family reunion where everyone who attended was given an award, although, we must confess, this year things were tougher as the nomination was beyond belief. There were as many as 9 different nominees in some categories.

Luckily, we haven’t seen a lot of these categories being awarded to multiple winners unlike previous years. Some of the big winners are Carry On Jatta 2 (4), Qismat (4) and Sajjan Singh Rangroot (4) arguably the Top 3 films of Punjabi Cinema in 2018. Laung Laachi (3) and Asees (2) were the other two winners. Diljit Dosanjh was completely ignored for Sajjan Singh Rangroot either for acting or singing. One of the bigger hits of the year Dakuaan Da Munda was completely ignored as well.
